What to Expect at our Worship Services

Welcome to Galloway United Methodist Church.

Our Sunday Services

Every Sunday, we have two Worship Services that aim to glorify Christ. The early service starts at 8:15 am and the later service at 10:45 am.

The services begin with ministry highlights and a moment to welcome one another. A visitor’s packet is handed out to newcomers. Both services hear the same sermon and special messages.   Overall the early service is more traditional and the late service is more contemporary.    Occasionally both groups unite for a combined service.

Our Welcome Center

Visit our Welcome Center in the greeting area.   On Sunday mornings you will find a helpful volunteer available to answer questions.   They can also provide directions to classes, or tell you more about Galloway Church and its ministries.

The Music

Musically, both services use the electric keyboard and acoustic guitar. The later service adds electric guitars and percussion. Sometimes the flute, piccolo and violin are added. Praise songs and hymns are sung in both.

Communion

The first Sunday of each month we share communion. Everyone is welcome to participate. God’s table (taking the bread and cup) is always open and He is ready to meet you.

Setting

Over 350 people worship here on Sunday mornings. The congregation includes a range of ages and backgrounds. You will find a variety of clothing attires including jeans, shorts, skirts and suits. Dress as you feel comfortable, you will fit right in!
