Love from the Family of God

A little over 6 years ago our 5 month old took a nap and never woke up. It was unbelievable and devastating. People from Galloway immediately responded in love. Many of whom we didn’t even know.

The day after she died we came back from making arrangements at the funeral home and the street was lined with vehicles. People had come to pray with us, over the house, and over the room where she died. In the days that followed people came to pray with us, just sit and talk, bring food, pick us up for play dates, and other things. I felt that so many of you were as broken hearted as I was. We received so many cards that when I put them into a bag, I could barely lift it.

I felt such an abundance of love that I knew it could only come from a people who loved God and loved like He does. Because of the family at Galloway, I was able to see that God’s plans are so much bigger than my own, and that His way is best. The love and support that I received from my family at Galloway enabled me to get through a very difficult time with minimal scarring. Thanks to all of you.
