"I will thank the Lord at all times.
My mouth will always praise Him."
Psalm 34:1

Worship Ministries

Worship Teams

Our Worship Teams help us connect with God through music. They lead the praise and worship time at services on Sunday Mornings and at special events. They play both contemporary praise songs and hymns. For information contact Pastor John Seth at seth@gallowaychurch.org.

The Galloway Choir

We are blessed by the special presentations of our Galloway Choir. This talented group of individuals shares there musical talent during the holiday seasons and at special events throughout the year. For information contact Stephanie Gordon at 814/374-4016.

Tech Teams

These vital teams are rarely noticed. They work diligently to support the Worship Services by providing proper sound for the music and speaking, video support, power point presentations for the sermons, and help with all the technology that enhances our worship. For information contact Shaun McLoughlin at skmcloughlin@verizon.net.

Altar Prayer Ministry Team

Seeking God in prayer for His love, wisdom, healing, and forgiveness is an important part of our walk with God.   On Sunday mornings, people come up front to the altar and pray.   Someone from the Altar Prayer Team will pray with them and others from the congregation may join them in prayer.

Greeters, Information Center Attendants, and Ushers

There are many people available to welcome you into our services.   The greeters will meet you at the door with a warm smile.   The information center is staffed to help answer any questions. And the ushers will provide a bulletin for the service and assist you in finding a seat.

Expressive Worship Team

Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise His name with dancing…”   This team seeks to share God’s joy through the arts.   By using banners, dance, and song they bring us closer to God with their special presentations.   Contact Susan Hileman at 677-6724 or Carol Jones at 437-3737.

Acolyte Ministry

At the beginning of the Worship Service an acolyte comes in to light the Altar candles.   This is a visual reminder that God, the light of the world, is with us in this place.   At the end of the service, the light is taken out of the worship center reminding us to take God with us into the world.
