“Where Life Matters”

Greetings, friends from Galloway! Thank you for your interest and continued support in us. Our mission is to be available to help women and girls who are in a crisis pregnancy. We do not judge or condemn, but confront with compassion. We will provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to enable a woman to carry her child to full term and plan constructively for her future.

The ministry office of ABC pregnancy center is located at 323 13th Street in Franklin, PA. We have two offices across the hall from each other and are looking to expand/relocate in the future as funding becomes available.

Our original mission was to be available to women and girls. We now see men and boys also. We have a single father that comes in on his own with his child and many fathers that come with the mothers of their children. Because part of what we do addresses sexual integrity, this involves both men and women, boys and girls. These are primarily of child rearing age. We’re trying to reach everyone with the abstinence until marriage message as set forth in scripture. We also are trying to reach parents with our parenting curriculum. This curriculum covers a wide variety of
topics but focuses on pregnancy through 2 years old. We also meet with post abortive women and men, and this can take place at all phases of life from child bearing years until late in life. God desires to see us whole and healthy!!

God has worked through us here at the center in many ways.The most prominent would probably be the relationships built between the consultants and the clients. As this relationship builds, the consultant is able to speak into the lives of these families —speaking truth about God’s Word and sharing how God loves them and desires to be a part of their lives.

It ’s hard to select just one or two miracles to share when we see babies born almost very month!!!!! One that stands out in my mind is the 2 babies that were carried to term after the mother had decided abortion would be her best option. Both had left our office unconvinced that abortion would not be best. One changed her mind from continued conversations with me and the Assistant Director. The other girl was actually on the abortion table, ready for the procedure when God intervened. The story is long so I’ll leave it here, but it was obviously a God thing!! We ’ve also had breach babies turn after prayer and many other miracles!

We are connected to Galloway through our community. We also have many members of Galloway volunteering here at the center in many capacities. Ruth Ruditis is our secretary/treasurer and has been involved for many years, Bill Yard has served on our board and has been board chairman in the past, and Patti Switzer is one of our new board members. The JC Missions group has come in and helped us change our clothing from summer to winter in our Baby Boutique and the church has supported us through our fundraisers such as our Baby Bottle Boomerang, our banquet and through monthly support. I’m sure there are many other instances when we collaborated in things!

Areas for possible further support could include of course, prayer and financially. Other ways could be more creative such as having men ’s group refurbish baby furniture or help us with simple repairs around the office, women ’s groups could sew things for our babies or shop/garage sales for our baby boutique. The ways to support are almost endless! Allow me to share with you way we can support you! Our families come in weekly to meet with us. We are willing to (and have one in the past) pass out information about events at our church such as VBS, Oil Changes,
clothing distribution and also our weekly services. Our families for the most part are un-churched and we will give them any flyers or information you provide. We want them to know about local churches and want to connect them with a church body that can add to the ministry they receive here. I’m hoping you will embrace our families.

The center ’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 4:2  “I m your Creator, you were in my care before you were born.”  Personally my scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.”  We live by scripture here! We need God’s voice every day!
